As noted by the head of the CIE, associate professor Vira Kovalenko, it is difficult and at the same time easy to talk about the motherland. It is difficult, as it is necessary to speak in a foreign language, and it is not always possible to find a suitable word. And it’s easy because of being inspired by love for the native land, its traditions, and culture.
This year’s virtual journey covered Europe, Asia, Africa, South America. The students presented 15 presentations on 10 countries: Italy, Turkey, Israel, China, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Nigeria, Ecuador, and Columbia. All those present were moved by the words of gratitude expressed by Malay student Diawar Diy for teachers.
