On October 2-12, 2017, as part of cooperation between the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Humboldt-Universität (Berlin, Germany) and with the support of the Erasmus + program, the 4th and 5th-year students of the Ukrainian Applied Linguistics Department at the Faculty of Philology took part in an internship.
At the invitation of the head of the Institute of Slavic Studies at Humboldt-Universität, Professor Anka Bergmann, the students held an intensive course on Ukrainian as a foreign language, took part in a conference and educational events dedicated to the celebration of the year of the Ukrainian language in Germany under the supervision of a professor at the Faculty of Philology Lesia Antoniv.
The year of the Ukrainian language in Germany under the motto “Explore Ukrainian! Feel Ukraine!” started on September 6, and the year of the German language in Ukraine – on September 9-10 and will end in the summer of 2018.
