On April 25, 2017 the seminar-presentation of European funds and cross-border cooperation programs took place in the Mirror Hall of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Within the event the representatives of the Centre of European projects told about the possibility of implementing numerous projects within the cross-border cooperation “Ukraine-Poland-Belarus” and shared the recommendations on the use of the possibilities given by the European funds to develop the science, economics and society.
Having started the meeting of the seminar the Rector of the University, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk emphasized that in the difficult time for our country it was necessary to make maximum efforts for the development of the science and improvement of the educational environment of Ukraine.
‘The participation in the international programs aimed at developing the scientific environment gives the possibility to increase the potential of scientific researches of the scientists of Lviv university, – and for students it is a possibility to take numerous trainings abroad and participate in international exchanges”, – Volodymyr Melnyk noted.
The Director of the Centre of European projects Leszek Buller emphasized that due to the European funds and joint projects the scientists of Lviv university had an opportunity to develop their scientific researches and direct them towards the region development and improvement of different spheres of the life.
Afterwards, the experts of the Centre of European projects told in details about the possibilities that the EU programs opened for scientists, students and workers of the University.
