SCIENTIFIC INTERDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE

TRANSFORMATION OF PARADIGMS OF THINKING AND CONCEPTIONS OF KNOWLEDGE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES IN GENERAL, PRACTICAL AND APPLIED PHILOSOPHY

The aim of the conference is to focus the attention on peculiarities of paradigmatic changes of philosophical thinking in contemporary conditions of informational technologies development, intensive global communication and unprecedented cultural interpenetration.

Remarkably, continuous qualitative increase and diversification of knowledge about the world more and more cause a fragmentation of understanding by a human of himself/herself and his/her cultural and social environment and gives rise to before unknown threats to the future. Religious factors of civilizational behavior of a human remain influential ones. According to those processes, we identify a new challenge to the role of natural sciences and humanities, knowledge and culture in social development. It pertains to the diagnostic of classical, non-classical and postmodernist models and styles of theoretical, scientific, and artistic thinking.

We suggest to outline the problems of destruction of human person and realization of his/her freedom, to analyze the condition of “open” and “closed” social reality in relation with peculiarities of their interpretation by cognitive means of metaphysics and philosophical trends of XX century.

The discussion of conceptions of knowledge and reality from the point of view of contemporary perspectives of the development of natural sciences, mathematics and particularly of genetics as well as education must become the important aspect of the interdisciplinary conference. We plan to start interdisciplinary discussion about the nature of cognitive means of explanation, understanding, and interpretation of being reality, social actuality, and human activity

It is suggested to display the outlined circle of problems taking into account new approaches formed at the intersection of post-structuralism, communicative philosophy, neotomism, postmodernism, semiotics, philosophy of science.
