The Faculty of Philosophy
trains bachelors (4 year program) and masters (on the basis of the education
level "Bachelor" – 1 year program) of philosophy, psychology and political
sciences.
The staff of the Faculty
is 58 teachers and professors, among whom are 6 Professors, Doctors of Sciences
and 38 Assistant Professors, Candidate of Sciences. There are about 300 students
at the Faculty.
There is a 3-year
post-graduate program at the Faculty. The Faculty of Philosophy has a
specialized Scientific Board on the defense of Doctor and Candidate Theses on
philosophical and political sciences.
The Faculty of philosophy
publishes Proceedings of Faculty of Philosophy. There are Hrihoriy Skovoroda
Club and Center of Political Studies at the Faculty.
The students of the
Faculty joined into Club "Aleteya".
