The preliminary insertion of carnosine, Zn-carnosine and taurine before the hypoxic hypoxia lead to increasing of lactate and decreasing of piruvate in rat's brain in comparison with hypoxia. That it testify to these low-weight natural metabolites have prevented the development of acidose in brain at the hypoxic hypoxia. That effect is associated with pH-buffering properties of carnosine and Zn-carnosine. The antiacidosic effect of taurine is connected with stimulation of Ca2+-accumulative function of mitochondria.
Key words: carnosine, Zn-carnosine, taurine, lactate, piruvate
