ANALYSIS OF ROOT GROWTH UNDER THE HIGH CONCENTRATIONS
OF 6-BAP AND a-NAA ON THE CELL LEVEL

Overseeing analysis thickening of maize roots under the influence of high concentrations of synthetic analogues of phytohormones. It is proved that reorientation of cells growth initiates in the connective root zone, which is between the meristem and the elongation zone of the root. We ascertained that morphological change is closely connected with the loss of polarity of cells, which leads to isodiametrical growth and rotundity of cells.
