ANALYSIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL MUTANTS INDUCED BY
ETHYLMETHANESULPHONATE IN Drosophila melanogaster

It was investigated the spectrum and frequency of mutations which appeared under the influence of chemical mutagen ethylmethanesulphonate (EMS) on the genome of D.melanogaster. It was shown that EMS induce morphological visible mutations in wild type strain Oregon R with the frequency 1,23-4,25 10-2 . We obtained mutations on loci yellow, white and cut on X-chromosome and autosomal mutations changing the eye structure. There were mutations in Lobe and Drop genes.
