Yeasts C. pseudotropicalis are capable to utilize oleate and ethylamine in the presence of glucose as carbon source. Oleate concentrations 0.5% and 1% with addition of glucose revealed optimal to cells growth.Concentrations for cells growth of ethylamine – 1% without glucose in cultivation medium and 0.5% with 1% glucose was optimal. Aminooxidase activity revealed high in cells cultivated and incubated in growth medium with 0.5% ethylamine and 1% glucose, when compare with cells, to which ethylamine was accecible as sole nitrate and carbone source. Appearance of peroxisomes in C.pseudotropicalis cells during utilization of known inductors of this microbody biogenesis – oleate and ethylamine, was demonstrared first.

Keywords: peroxisome, biogenesis, aminooxidase, oleate, ethylamine.
