THE RESULTS OF THE INFLUENCE OF RADIATION ON
THE PEOPLES’ HEALTH OF VOLYN REGION AFTER
THE EXPLOSION IN CHORNOBIL ATOMIC POWER

The crash at the Chornobil power station is the greatest ecological cat astrophe,
its’ ten years was in 1996. The aftercrash period is characterised by total dose of radiation
for the people at the radionuclids migration along the food chains. The low
levels of the radi ation have an influence on the organisms’ functions, what is confirmed
by increase of such diseases as: the illnesses of the thyroid gland, the illnesser
of the blood, the illnesses of the circulation of the blood and so on.An actual task of
the present-day is the studing of the influence of the low dose radiation on the peoples’
health.
