ORNITHOCOMPLECKSIS OF PEAT BOGS BETWEEN THE
RIVERS DNISTER AND BUG

Insignificant amount peat marsh nature reservations available in the L’viv area in modern conditions require speci al inventory. It is urgent for a substantiation of an ecological network environmental protection of territories concentrate in between the rivers Bug and Dnister. The creation of new reserved objects directed on prot ection of a biodiversity, separately of species of Ukraine, brought in the Red Book, and living extremely or mainly on bogs is necessary. In this respect peat bogs in between the rivers Bug and Dnister, represent the l arge interest, as belong to pools of the B altic and Black seas but unite valuable communities Charadriiformes: Limosa limosa, Numenius arqata, Tringa ochropus, Tringa totanus. Among marsh birds in between the rivers Bug and Dnister – 11 species from the Red Book of Ukraine are registered.
