ORNITHOCOMPLEXES OF THE MEADOW ECOSYSTEMS OF
WESTERN PART OF UKRAINE WHICH ARE UNDER THE
INFLUENCE OF THE AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITY

Birds can be an indicators of transformation, particularly degradation processes.
They are very sensitive to the following factors that are caused by the agricultural activity:
the decrease of the size of the areas; the changes of the humidity of areas (in the side
of draining); the decrease of the maximal and average height of the vegetation, height of
cutting and grazing; the decrease of the density and productivity of the vegetation; vegetation
changes; weeds covering. For the all of these factors the opposite correlation of
majority statistical indices of ornithocomplexes were observed.
