Candidate of economic sciences, assistant professor. After the graduation from the Economics Department of Lviv State University in 1996 entered postgraduate studies on the department of economic theory. In the year 2000 defended his candidates thesis "Labor Market Formation in Terms of the Ukrainian Transition Economy".
From 1999 works as an assistant and since 2001 as an associate professor of the economic theory department. Associate professor Myhaylyshyn is an author of almost 20 scientific researches, including a monograph and a textbook on economic theory for students from institutes of higher education.
Delivers courses of lectures on "Political Economy", "Macroeconomics", "Economic Policy", "Economy of Ukraine", "History of Economic Studies", and "Economic History".
Frame of interest - employment and labor market, interaction between physical and monetary sectors of the domestic economy, modern economy institutional aspects.
