Petro Ostroverh
Candidate
of economic sciences, professor. In 1976 graduated from the Economics
Department of Harkiv State University. After his graduation works as an
assistant in Lviv Veterinary Institute. In 1978-1981 studies as a postgraduate
student on the Lviv State University political economy department. In
1982 defends candidate thesis, which concerned problems of the economic
integration. Since 1983 works on the department as an associate professor.
Completed a traineeship in George Washington University (1998).
Professor Ostroverh is a co-author of 11 monographs, textbooks and manuals.
His textbooks "Basics of the Economic Theory" (K.: Atika, 2001) and "Basics
of the Economic Theory: Tests" (Lviv: Dialog, 1997) as well as "Basics
of the Economic Theory: Exercises and Problems" (Lviv: Dialog, 1997) are
very popular among the students.
