Andriy Stasyshyn
Candidate
of economic sciences, associate professor. After the graduation in 1993
from the Economics Department of Lviv State University worked as a department
of economic theory assistant. In 1994-1997 studied on the postgraduate
level and in 1997 defended his candidate thesis "Macroeconomic Regulation
in Terms of the Ukrainian Economy Market Transition". From 1998 works
on the department as an associate professor. Completed his traineeships
in Wayne University (1994), World Bank (1995), New York Banking School
(2001).
Associate professor Stasyshyn is a co-author of 5 monographs, textbooks
and educational manuals. He is one of the translators of popular English
textbooks on macroeconomics, microeconomics, money and finance theory,
including "Macroeconomics" (K.: Osnovy, 1995. - 572p.) written by the
economics Nobel Prize winner P. Samuelson; "The Economics of Money, Banking,
and Financial Markets" by F. Mishkin (K.: Osnovy, 1998. - 963p.) and other.
