The Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv has the honor to invite you to take part on October 11-12, 2002 in international conference

“Ukrainian Foreign Policy Interest

(political, economic and legal mechanisms

of its relalization)”

which will be held on the occasion of the 10^th anniversary of the Faculty of International Relations.

The main topics of the Conference:

1. A new system of international relations – new foreign policy interests of Ukraine?

2. Globalized economy: Ukrainian interest.

3. International legal mechanisms of the realization of Ukrainian foreign policy interest.

4. International relations: research and education in Ukraine.

The text of the research paper and a request for participation in the conference should be sent by September 1, 2002 to the address:

The Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Faculty of International Relations, Organizing Committee of the Conference, 1, Universyetska Street, Lviv 79000 Ukraine.

Requirements to the papers:

The texts of the papers should be presented both in hard copies and in electronic form (on 3.5' floppy disc), prepared in MS Word 6.0 – MS Word 2000.

The papers should be no longer than 3,300 words, summary – 250 words.

The arrangement of the text:

1) first and second name;

2) position and place of work;

3) e-mail address, contact telephones;

4) title of the paper;

5) body of the text;

6) list of literature;

7) summary in English;

8) key words.

Working languages of the Conference: Ukrainian, English.

The Organizing Committee and the Editorial Board reserves the right to edit the materials, as well as abridge them in case they do not correspond to the requirements, with the preservation of scholarly contents.

The Proceedings of the Conference will be published before the Conference.
