1. Manuscripts should be typed on one side only and submitted in duplicate. The conventions of mathematicals journals should be observed. Languages accepted are: Ukrainian, Russian, English, German, French.
2. Each typescript should include:
   • the author's name, title and an abstract of not more than 250 words written in English and Russian, preferably containing no formulae and certainly no complicated formulae and no references
   • a 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification;
   • if the title is long, a shortened form of it, no more than 40 characters in length;
   • the address of the author(s) for publication in the journal;
3. In the case of joint authorship, a letter should accompany the manuscript stating which author will assume responsibity for correspondence and proofreading.
4. Since 1999, the section "Research Announcements" has been published. Besides the text (up to 2 journal pages), the authors should submit an expanded version containing proofs of all results.
5. The papers should be typed in TeX , format LaTeX 2e using the style file of the journal "Matematychni Studii" and the maket file. On acceptance of the paper authors may give the discs to the Editorial Board, or transmit the paper by electronic mail to: matstud@franko.lviv.ua.
