Information about training of scientific-pedagogical staff at doctoral and post-graduate courses of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv - 2003

Post-graduate studies at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a training and scientific structure which exist since 1945. Training of highly qualified

scientific personnel by means of dissertation work fulfilment to get Candidate’s degree is its main task.

Now the education is carried out in 86 specialities:

Training term is determined by individual plans of dissertation researches and meant for 3-years  (permanent establishment) and 4-years (by correspondence) education.

3 years long education procedure of people working for Doctor's degree (DSc)  has been started in 1988.

Acceptance of doctoral and post-graduate students is carried out according to the state orders and on the paid contract basis.

Reception of documents is carried out every year from August 1 till  September 8.
