The major scientifically-organizational action of the Institute is annual organization, beginning from 1992, of international Slavonic colloquiums, which enable the scientists of Ukraine, Poland, Czech, Byelorussia, Bulgaria and other countries regularly to meet, to inform colleagues about their scientific researches and hear their critical remarks, exchange the newest information in the sphere of Slavonic studies, finally, to set, put right and deepen the personal scientific contacts. Materials of colloquiums are printed in “Problems of Slavonic studies”.
