The collected scientific works “Problems of Slavic studies” had been published since 1970 and at present it is unique long-lived all-Ukrainian periodical edition in the sphere of various fields of Slavonic studies: linguistics, literary studies, history and culture. Until 1973 the collected works (1–12 issues) were published under the title “Ukrainian Slavic philology”. In 1973 the collected works were renamed to “Problems of Slavic studies” in connection with the strengthening of ideological pressure in the sphere of humanities. At present time appeared 57 issues. 58 issue is being printed right now. The collected works are included to the reference book of the scientific periodical editions and other informational editions of the higher school of Europe “EVRO sources. A directory of Scientific and Higher Education Media throughout Europe. Special edition of EVROMECUM – European Higher Education and Research Education and Research Institutions” (Bonn, 1997).
