"CL" functions on the self-repayment basis and

of the editorial office: E-mail: partyko@journ.franko.lviv.ua 4. "CL" is an "electronic" journal. It is distributed in tree ways: from the server at Ivan Franko Lviv State University through the world wide web Internet; on floppy disks (unabridged versions of publications); and via E-mail (contents, abstracts, advertisement). The E-mail version is distributed abroad (to the editorial offices of the suchlike Computational Linguistics journals; organizations that develop and sell linguistic software; universities, etc.). The journal is issued every 1-4 months (as soon as the demanded scope of material has been presented for publication). 5. The materials of the journal are subject to the action of "The Law of Ukraine on the Copyright and the Concomitant Rights". However, the materials of the journal are not protected from unlawful copying through the Internet for the reason of the web technology. 6. A disk with the recorded text of an issue of the journal is preserved at Vasyl' Stefanyk Lviv Scientific Library of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine, 290 601 Україна, 290 601, Львiв, вул. Стефаника, 2). The bibliographical description of the journal is entered in the list of existing periodical publications which enables the reader to learn the contents of the journal. 7. The library provides every author with a certificate of the established standard through the editorial staff. 8. Every author has the right to distribute the "CL" journal on a floppy disk (with Article 5 taken into account). 9. The scientific collection "Foreign Philology" regularly announces the publication of the supplement - next issue of the electronic journal "Computational Linguistics" and provides its contents. 10. An electronic copy of the "CL" journal is published in the world wide web Internet on the server of Ivan Franko Lviv State University: 11. The
editorial staff of the journal reserves the right to: 12. The editorial staff makes no editing of the texts. The liability for the text of a publication rests exclusively with its author. 13. The authors reserve the right to have their works republished in hard edition of the journal without consent of the editorial staff. 14. If preferred by the authors and the reader the editorial staff may provide the service of translation of the texsts into foreign languages. 15. Organizations and private people may subscribe to the journal on a floppy disk. 16. This Statute is provisional. Its action is terminated after the 31st of December, 1999.
